"Que-Tah-To-Yah" meaning "Rocky Butte", the "Peak", and finally "Comanche Peak", whatever name you know it by, the mountain rises up to 1,229' in elevation, and is located in the historic town of Granbury, TX. just a short drive west of Fort Worth.
With only a handful of recorded owners since it was first mentioned as a "Rocky Butte" on the map of Spanish explorers' in the 1600s, the ranch is privately owned and remains a refuge for the many deer, fox, and wild turkey that seek safety as the surrounding area grows in population and housing developments.
The Hill family is committed to protecting the ranch and it's rich history while developing facilities that compliment the western heritage of Texas. As the facilities are completed, the ranch will welcome seasonal hosted tours, educational field trips and private functions to the ranch.
To date, the ranch hosts a limited number of select events for the community as well as a few private functions throughout the year.
You are invited to explore the possibility of having your next social, charitable, or private function high atop Comanche Peak Ranch. It is a magical place like no other!
